Gawd, don't mention crabs! I went out crabbing today here in MD. I got my trot line caught up in my propeller somehow, and had to ditch my 600 foot line with 120 chicken necks. Then, after I thought I got all the line away from the prop (which I didn't), I ended up spinning out the hub. For you landlubbers that means the prop ripped out the plastic piece that is designed to rip out when the propeller hits something, to protect the rest of the motor. The boat will still move, but at a walking pace. There is no more helpless feeling than having to creep home to shore at 1 mile per hour when you're two miles from the boat ramp.

Get down and row, row, row, row, row.
